Natural and Schakerloo Scherpenisse Polder

Directly adjacent to The Striene Schakerloo nature and is one kilometer into the other side is natural Scherpenisse polder. The richness of these areas is evident from the following report about Belgian birders:
Birds galore! We discover two Golden Plovers in summer plumage. In the plasma rest hundreds of Lapwings and a lot further hundreds Wulpen. In between are still many 70-Avocets and a few Mountain Ducks. In the grass we find five Yellow Wagtails.
